Bristol Design Festival Eco Design Exhibition. 8th - 29th June at the Create Centre, Smeaton Road, BS1 6XN. 9am-5pm. Students shortlisted for the Envired Eco Design Award show their work with Bristols best Eco Designers.

Envired

Envired is based in Bristol and currently works with schools and colleges in the South and South West of England. We provide educational training and support in sustainability, viability and environmental factors across the design and technology curriculum. Envired delivers imaginative, fun, tailor made programmes around eco design issues.

Envired comes directly into schools and works with teachers and students on exciting projects that raise student awareness and understanding of the global impact products have.

How does it work?

As a school or college you can dictate which parts of the Envired service you would like to use.
A tailor made programme is developed depending on your time and resources.

Current and Past Projects

6 week Technology project at a Bromley school. Students make environmentally friendly products to raise money for charity.

Year 9 Enterprise project. Students work with designers on making suitable sustainable batch produced products.

Summer holiday "Junk to Funk" workshops. Bring along your Rubbish and Junk to make new products to take home. New workshops coming soon.

12 A'level students in Bristol reduce the impact their D&T products have on the environment.

100 Design and Technology students build a permanent sculpture for their school grounds in Gloucestershire with the help from artist Tash Macvoy.

Mission Statement

Envired is dedicated to a sustainable future within education, art, design and manufacture. Envired works closely with industry. We learn from them and pass their knowledge and working practices onto schools and colleges. Envired has worked with Envision and developed an environmental policy. www.envisionsw.org.uk
